CBP Form 7512 (Transportation Entry)


CBP Form 7512 is used for in-transit bonded shipments, allowing goods to move through the U.S. without immediate customs clearance. It applies to immediate transport (IT), transportation and exportation (TE), and immediate export (IE).

Creating a 7512 Entry

1. Navigate to Customs > Form 7512. 2. Click Add to open the Create 7512 Entry page. 3. Select the Transportation Type:

  • IT (Immediate Transport)

  • TE (Transportation and Exportation)

  • IE (Immediate Export)

4. Input Required Information:

  • Entity Info: Include ports, carrier, and consignee details

  • Transportation Info: Provide mode and transit timeline

  • Merchandise Info: Enter description and quantities

  • Authorization Info: Include required authorizations

  • Filing Info: Add seal numbers and inspection details

7512 Field Descriptions

Entity Information

Bonded Carrier

Authorized carrier for in-bond movement.

Entry Number

Unique identifier for the in-bond movement.

Foreign Port of Lading

Port where goods were originally loaded.

CBP Port Director

Port director authorizing the movement.

Consignee

Ultimate recipient of the goods.
