CBP Form 7501


CBP Form 7501 is used to declare imported goods and calculate duties, taxes, and fees required for customs clearance. It is a mandatory filing for most commercial imports into the U.S.

Creating a 7501 Entry

1. Navigate to Customs > Form 7501. 2. Click + Add to open the Create 7501 Entry page. 3. Select a Project and the specific shipment number.

> The system will auto-populate shipper and consignee info. Please verify this information matches your Shipment Order and Bill of Lading (BOL). 4. Input Required Info:

  • Entry Info: Include entry number, type, and filing details

  • Transportation Info: Provide vessel and port details

  • Manufacturer Info: Enter manufacturer ID and origin details

  • Line Items Info: Add line items with HTS codes and duty calculations

> For comprehensive field definitions, refer to the 7501 Field Descriptions section. 5. Verify all entered information for accuracy. Click Confirm to submit the entry summary.
